You cant just eat good food, you've got to talk about it too.
Ingredients
2 cups self raising flour
pinch salt
1 tspn sugar
1 tblspn butter (melted)
300 mls cream and milk or water
Cream and Jam for serving
Instructions
- Sift flour and salt, add sugar.
- Melt butter and add to cream mixture.
- Pour into flour mix.
- Cut with knife until combined.
- Turn onto floured board, knead lightly into shape and flatten to about 1 inch.
- Cut with cutter (makes about 12 scones).
- Place on tray and cook in hot oven 200c 8-12 mins.
- Serve with Cream and Jam
