A compromise is dividing a cake in such a way as everybody believes he/she has the largest piece.
Ingredients

1 Cup sugar
4 oz butter
2 well beaten eggs
3 mashed bananas
1 1/2 cups self raising flour
1 tspn bicarb soda dissolved in tblspns milk
vanilla
Icing for finishing

Instructions
  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs and beat well.
  3. Add bananas and other ingredients.
  4. Cook in two greased sandwich tins at 190c for 40 mins.
  5. Cool and spread whipped cream in between cakes.
  6. Finish with icing of choice. Chocolate or Lemon work well
  7. Optional – Sprinkle finished cake with icing sugar.
